How it Works

1. Book Your Clean Online

There are many factors that determine how many hours are required. The minimum time that can be booked is 2 hours. Most homes will require 3 or more hours.

2. No Stress Clean

Our cleaners will arrive at the predetermined time that best suits your needs. Get ready to marvel in your clean home!

3. Follow-Up Review

To make sure you’re satisfied with our service, we send you a follow-up survey for you to assess the job. That way, we know how our cleaners are performing and if there is anything else we can do for you.

◼ Can I trust the cleaner coming to my home?

We require all our cleaners to have Police Checks. We also screen them to ensure they have the assured experience our customers are looking for. We place a significant importance on our cleaners' character as well to make sure they are trustworthy.

◼ What happens if something is broken while cleaning my home?

Inner West Domestics will cover up to $500 for any property damaged or broken as a result of negligence.

◼ Can I change my cleaner if I am unhappy?

If for any reason you are unhappy with your cleaner, just let us know. We will most definitely be able to organise a cleaner that better suits you.

◼ Can I get a receipt?

All of our cleaners can provide a receipt for each service. If you would like a receipt after a clean, please advise your cleaner.

◼ How do I pay for the service?

Payment is due upon completion of the clean and is payable via cash or EFT. It is to be made directly to your cleaner after each service, not to Inner West Domestics.
For time-efficiency purposes, it is recommended to make payment to our cleaners with cash unless they have a preference for EFT.

◼ Is there a contract?

There are no lock-in contracts! You can stop the service at any time.

◼ Do I need to provide cleaning equipment and products?

Yes. Our customers provide the mop and vacuum for the clean. This is due to our hygiene policy. However, we do provide cleaning equipment and products for specialised jobs upon request. For our Spring Clean service, the cleaner will bring all necessary equipment and products.

◼ Can I change my scheduled cleaning time?

Yes. Please let us know in advance so we can accommodate for any changes. We will endeavour to find you a new appointment that better suits your needs.

◼ Can I give the cleaner a key?

The cleaner won’t hold onto your key. If you are not home, you can leave the key for your cleaner in a key combination safe. The key will be returned to the safe upon completion.

◼ How many cleaners should I expect to arrive for each appointment?

The cleaning service is generally provided by one cleaner or a team of two people. In some cases, depending on the type of clean and size of home, the service may be provided by a team of more than two people.

◼ Do I need to be home when the cleaner comes?

For the initial clean, you may want to meet your cleaning tech. However, this is not necessary. If you are not home, you can leave a key out so your cleaner can begin upon arriving. Once they have finished, they will leave the key in a predetermined safe location determined by you.
